Information about grant

SIGC is a non-profit community group made up of avid gardeners. Part of the role of the club is the promo tion, education and support of other community projects that may beautify the community through gardening, promote native species or composting projects. Examples of applicable garden related items that donation can be used for: Annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, benches, solar lights, compost bins, trellises, soil, landscaping supplies, garden tools, wheel barrels and education gardening material.

Applications may be received throughout the year however decisions for funding are confirmed in May of each year. Deadline for Applications is April 29, 2023. Grants up to $400 are available. Funds are impacted by the number of applications received and budgetary restrictions. Community project application approvals are made at the discression of the Garden Club.
